Last week we talked a lot about wants and needs, earning and saving money as well as buying and spending it. We read the story: Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday and quickly discovered that he was not very good at saving his money. Think about the story. Why did the author write this book? What was her purpose or LESSON she wanted her readers to learn as they heard Alexander's story? You can listen to the story again to help you with your response. Make sure you use evidence from the story in your answer. Use DETAILS.... remember, a one sentence response isn't enough! I can't wait to read your posts! | |

Flip! Here your child will have an opportunity to respond to a question that connects to the learning happening in our classroom. This is a great way to get your child reflecting about their classroom experiences and sharing all the great things happening with you. It also helps me reflect too! Please encourage them to take part in this activity! They will earn a special treat when they do. Archives
