This week we read a story about a boy and his dog. The dog is NOT a good listener and does several naughty things in the story. His owner takes him to dog school to help him learn, but the dog does not do well. On the last day of dog school the boy is worried that his pet will not pass the test, but the dog does to the boy's surprise! What do you think would've happened if the dog didn't do well on the test? Don't forget to explain your thinking... tell me why!!! I can't wait to read your posts!

Last week we read several stories about helping others and we wrote in our writing journals about things we do to help out at home! Share with me something you've done to help someone else. It can be something you did at home, school, or anywhere else! Make sure you share details... what did you do, why did you decide to help, how did you or the person you helped feel? I can't wait to read your posts! |
Flip! Here your child will have an opportunity to respond to a question that connects to the learning happening in our classroom. This is a great way to get your child reflecting about their classroom experiences and sharing all the great things happening with you. It also helps me reflect too! Please encourage them to take part in this activity! They will earn a special treat when they do. Archives
