This week we talked about cause and effect. In the story Pigs in a Rig there were several "cause and effect" events that happened. For example: because the rig hit a bump in the road, one of the pigs fell off the truck and into the mud (effect). Think of some other events that focus on "cause and effect". It can be something from the story, TV, or an event that happend to you! Let me know the cause and what the effect was! I can't wait to read your posts!

When I score a goal, I celebrate. Scoring the goal is the cause and celebrating is the effect.

When I played soccer, we passed the ball back and forth to each other. I got the ball and I ran and kicked the ball into the goal with my best shot. The goalie missed the ball. I scored a point, and then we won the game.

The car did a zig zag and the pig fell in the bag with the donuts. The zig zag is the cause and the pig in the bag was the effect.

Flip! Here your child will have an opportunity to respond to a question that connects to the learning happening in our classroom. This is a great way to get your child reflecting about their classroom experiences and sharing all the great things happening with you. It also helps me reflect too! Please encourage them to take part in this activity! They will earn a special treat when they do. Archives
