Record all the great books you read during track out and tell me a little about each one! I will be checking to see who is reading! Whoever reads more than 5 books during track out will have lunch with me on the first Friday that we return to school... did I mention there will be a yummy dessert too??? Happy Reading :-)

I read The Elf on the Shelf lots. It is about an Elf that comes everyday to check on me. Every night he goes back and reports back to Santa. When he comes back the next morning, he is always in a different spot and I have to find him. We named our elf Fred. He has brown hair and wears a red suit.

I read Twas the night before Christmas. It was a story about Santa coming to visit. It told about how the stockings were hung. It also talked about all of the reindeer. I enjoyed reading about how Santa makes his rounds.

I read Cars 2, the storybook. It was a group of stories about all of the Cars 2 characters. Lightning McQueen and Mater are still my favorites. They are best friends and go on many adventures.

I also read Toy Story 3, the storybook. The book told us all the story of the Toy Story 3 movie. It told a story about how Woody ended up at a toy collector and escaped with the help of Buzz Lightyear and all of the other toys.

Flip! Here your child will have an opportunity to respond to a question that connects to the learning happening in our classroom. This is a great way to get your child reflecting about their classroom experiences and sharing all the great things happening with you. It also helps me reflect too! Please encourage them to take part in this activity! They will earn a special treat when they do. Archives
