This week we read a story called A Day at School. In this book we used the "Noting Details" strategy to help us understand (comprehend) the story better. This strategy also helped us compare the things we do at school to what the children in the story did. Make a connections with this story. Share something you do at school. Remember to give details (more than one sentence). What do you do? Do you like it? Why? Those are just some example questions to help you respond to this post! I can't wait to read your responses!

We have recess at school. At recess, we play games. It is fun because there is no work.

My favorite thing to do at school is math. It is fun because I like adding and subtracting.

Flip! Here your child will have an opportunity to respond to a question that connects to the learning happening in our classroom. This is a great way to get your child reflecting about their classroom experiences and sharing all the great things happening with you. It also helps me reflect too! Please encourage them to take part in this activity! They will earn a special treat when they do. Archives
