Last week we read Alexander Who Used to be Rich Last Sunday and My Rows and Piles of Coins. In these books, both of the characters were trying to save money for something they wanted. Think about both boys, Alexander and Saruni and compare them. Tell me one way they were alike and one way they were different. I can't wait to read your responses.

One way they were alike was they both wanted a toy. One way they were different was Saruni worked to make money and got the toy he wanted and Alexander didn't.

Flip! Here your child will have an opportunity to respond to a question that connects to the learning happening in our classroom. This is a great way to get your child reflecting about their classroom experiences and sharing all the great things happening with you. It also helps me reflect too! Please encourage them to take part in this activity! They will earn a special treat when they do. Archives
