At the beginning of the story, she felt happy because she was getting goals at soccer. She changed from happy to sad because she quit and she tried to play the next game, but they wouldn't let her because she quit. At the end, she felt happy because she didn't win or lose, but she did good.

Mia Hamp says she wants to quit a soccer game but she wanted to play again they told her no you cant play we don't like quitters on our team she was able to play again.

In the beginning Mia felt angry because she missed a goal and she said, "I quit." At the end she scored a goal and she changed her mind. She was happy again. MIa learned winner never quit.
